Engine back in the car


At the front the the chain gears were aligned (had to remove 3 of 4 distance washers on the crank shaft) and the duplex chain was fitted. Had to enlarge the countersunk holes to avoid the screws to touch the chain. 

After fitting the new oil pump from Moss and the backplate, flywheel and the clutch could be fitted. Clutch plate needs to be centric, otherwise mounting it in the car on the gearbox shaft will be impossible. So I centered it by measuring around and positioning it before complete assembly of the clutch.



Rented a small crane to put the engine in the car. I protected the brake pipe and cabling with some wood taped on the front bar. See pictures below.
